A bit about KANISHA.

Kanisha is the enthusiastic Gen Z intern at The Coffee Lab. She has always believed that a passion for creativity and entrepreneurship could take her places, and her journey has been a testament to that.

She studied Business Management in Southampton, where she immersed herself in the world of hospitality for four years. During that time, she worked her way up to become the assistant manager of a vibrant restaurant and cocktail bar. An incredible experience that not only honed her leadership skills but also allowed her to dive deep into event planning and promotion. She loved organising events that showcased local musical talents, creating an atmosphere where creativity and community could flourish.

Her love for entrepreneurship has been a lifelong passion. The Coffee Lab project has been an exciting opportunity for her to see first-hand how one can transform an idea into reality. She is thrilled to be part of a team that encourages innovation and collaboration!

Music has always been a huge part of her life. Growing up, she spent countless hours dancing and jumping around the house with her dad, which sparked her love for rhythm and melody. Over the years, she tried her hand at learning three instruments—piano, guitar, and violin. While she may not be a virtuoso, each instrument has taught her something valuable about creativity and expression. To her, music is a universal language; it can be an escape, a source of motivation, or a way to connect with others on a deeper level.

At The Coffee Lab, her role is all about creating engaging content for their social media platforms and connecting with the amazing community. She thrives on brainstorming fresh ideas and exploring new ways to make the brand resonate with people, especially her fellow Gen Zers. Think of her as the designated “crazy idea box”—always ready to think outside the box and bring some fun energy to the team!
